Originally built in 1968 by architect John Woods, this Viking lodge-inspired hotel has welcomed guests for over half a century.

Situated on the very edge of Big Bear Lake, Hotel Marina Riviera is surrounded by the ski slopes of the San Bernardino mountains; the wandering national forest trails that bring to mind Robert Frost's “lovely, dark and deep” woods; and the comforts of the neighboring township.

Casetta Group thoughtfully restored Hotel Marina Riviera to highlight the 60s bones of the building and the great outdoors. The hotel’s interior renovation was inspired by Big Bear's natural surroundings, with rich colors reflecting the wood environs' palette and influenced by classic ski lodge design.

Our 42 renovated guest rooms feature vintage, nature-inspired art complements and beautiful lake views. Our six cabins located across the street from the hotel, offer full kitchens and gas fireplaces. Stroll to Big Bear Village in under 5 minutes and hop in our shuttle for a ride to the ski slopes. In 2024, our grounds will include a private beach, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, outdoor fires, and super views of sunrise and sunsets on the lake.

Our bar and dining options will open in Winter 2024. Please excuse any construction and landscaping while we prepare for this space to open.
